What we collect
Chains does not directly collect or store personal information and does not require account registration or login.
However, third-party services used in the app — including advertising and analytics providers — may automatically collect certain information, such as device identifiers (e.g., IDFA), IP address, device type, app interactions, and approximate location, as described below.
Third-party ads
Our app displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks via Appodeal. These services may collect certain device information — such as device identifiers (e.g., IDFA), IP address, and approximate location — to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Usage analytics
We use Amplitude to collect anonymous usage data — such as which levels are played, session duration, and in-app actions. This helps us understand how the game is used and improve the experience. Amplitude may collect device identifiers, IP address, and behavioral event data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Your tracking choice
On iOS 14 and later, we request your permission through App Tracking Transparency before allowing tracking. You can deny permission, and the app will continue to function with non-personalized ads.
Local storage only
The app stores game progress (such as completed levels and earned spools) locally on your device using Apple's standard storage (UserDefaults). This data is not transmitted externally.
Under 13
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, advertising will be served in non-personalized mode only.
Partners
We use third-party services for advertising and analytics. These services may collect anonymous usage and device information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
